SE Bronco Race BMX Bike Aqua Blue 20"

SE Bronco Race BMX Bike Aqua Blue 20
This is a nice 20" bike. I like that the rear wheel is freewheel (no coaster brake), because I like to pedal backwards sometimes while going slow. I am happy with the purchase.

I am also very happy with the seller (ProBoardshop) since the bike came very quickly and because they were willing to ship it to my PO Box by Priority mail.

One note, if an adult is planning on riding this bike then I suggest getting a different (bigger) bike seat, which is pretty easy since the seats themselves seem to be pretty universal (I kept the original seat post and just replaced the seat only).

I didn't really see any instructions to put the bike together, though it does come with a manual, but then I think they do recommend that it be put together at an authorized dealer, but that said, I put the bike together myself. The difficult parts are already done, I just had to put on the pedals, the front wheel, put on and adjust the handlebars and align them with the front fork, and attach the brake cable to the handle (the brake is already installed and the cable is ran), put on the reflectors and chainguard, and put on and adjust the seatpost and seat, I think that was about it at least as I remember now. The tools I remember using are metric allen wrenches, metric wrenches, adjustable wrenches (crescent wrenches), wire cutters to cut the packaging zip ties (scissors would work fine), and a phillips screwdriver.

    Victory Vision Bike (Red/White, 700C X 20-Inch)
I was skeptical at first when contemplating about buying this bike, I had seen a lot of reviews on other sites about the bike having problems with wheels and breaks.
When I received my bike, it came well sealed but I could immediately hear items being loose inside. I finally opened it up and the box with the skewers and other goodies was extremely damaged and the skewers were missing, also the screw that goes in the stem connecting the gear shifters to it.
Other than that everything came well packaged, no scratches or dents. The bike was perfect. I took it to my local bike shop to get it assembled correctly, when I first rid it, the seat would come loose and was kind of uncomfortable but I quickly changed the seat to one of my previous bikes' seat.
The bike itself is fantastic, I am no pro rider but for the price this bike can't be beat. It's way faster than the bike I owned before but it makes a weird noise when I pedal.
I can see I am way faster and the funny thing is, I had a 500 dollar bike and it isn't as fast as this one, a little heavier than I expected but not really a big deal.
Love the bike and recommend it to anyone who has the money and wants a pretty good bike for the price.

Kawasaki KDX1 26-Inch Dual Suspension Mountain Bike

Kawasaki KDX1 26-Inch Dual Suspension Mountain Bike
I purchased the KDX2, the aluminum model, from Amazon. Delivery was quick and the box had all of the parts. With these Kawasaki bikes (the name is licensed; Kawasaki Motor Company has nothing to do with these bikes) you are getting what you pay for, if you paid less than $200 like me.

Like other buyers, I experienced an anoying problem with the bottom bracket. The left (non-drive) crank arm kept falling off. After less than 5 minutes of pedaling the nut would unscrew itself and the crank would begin to wobble and then come completely unsecured. The cause of this problem likely is that the bottom bracket spindle was installed wrong at the factory or the part is just a cheaply made component and not reliable. And that's the story of the KDX2, the "factory/manufacturer" simply used the cheapest parts supplier they could find in China. I've discovered that some of the parts on the Kawasaki bikes are either non-standard or obsolete. That means that when it comes time to get replacements for worn parts you might have compatibility problems. If you're experienced with the mechanics of a bicycle and essentially know your way aroud a bike, then upgrading the bike might not be a big challenge. Just think of it as a bare frame that you want to put your own unique style on, sorta like that MTV show "Pimp My Ride."

I've already upgraded the crankset, handlebar, stem, saddle, seatpost and headset with better quality name brand parts. But then I discovered the bottom bracket problem, so now I've got to replace that with a standard and name brand version. Down the road I'll get a new wheelset because all-aluminum rims and Shimano freehubs in the wheels are the contemporary standard now. And even still, the overall cost will be a lot less than if I had purchased an authentic entry-level mountain bike (about 400 bucks). The bottom line is, the KDX2 aluminum frame is decent(good welds, wide and sturdy tubes) but the stock components are of low quality. By the way, the warranty is one year but customer service is slow.
